Last Guy Out Shuts The Ads (or: AdBrite Are So Frustrating)

I have adbrite ads running on one of the sites I’m running and it’s just so frustrating.
For several hours during the day I will get reasonable ads displaying on my pages but then when it’s about midnight over in San Francisco, the “Your Ad Here” ads keep coming up instead of the normal ones. A few good hours later it will comeback to life again.
It’s as if they have a rule there that the last guy shuts the lights, A/C and the ads engine.
Support at adbite is not bright at all. Everybody knows that. I seldom get an email from them saying that they found some lost code that will now make the ads run better but it doesn’t help much. I even called them up a couple of times but they’re answering machine tells you right at the start to go away cause they don’t want to deal with “account specific issues over the phone” and that these matters should be dealt with through the website support form. I didn’t budge but there was still no answer …
